Disclosure and Excuse

In managing conflict of interest, Board/Committee members shall follow the guidelines below:
(i) Any Committee member having a potential interest or benefit, directly or indirectly, by association, partnership or family relation in any contract or matter involving the SACCO shall disclose in writing, the existence of such interest, and shall excuse himself/herself from participating in the deliberations, negotiation and execution of such a contract.
(ii) Failure to disclose shall result in the removal of such a Committee member from office.
